If you are here, it means you are experiencing issues connecting our software with the cTrader trading platforms, don't worry in this article we will teach you how to successfully connected our software with cTrader.
Let's start saying that Magic Keys works with cTrader under both Windows and MacOS, but on MacOS this platforms was released only from a few months so we are still waiting for some updates from the cTrader development team to offers all the same functions that are instead available on the Windows version of that platforms.
The installation processed is the same for both the operatying system and for all of our models including the On-Screen one, in our download page you will find that it was recorded under Windows, but the same steps needs to be taken even if you are using a Mac (remember that Magic Keys requires at least MacOS 11.5 or greater).
If you have already followed the entire process that is shown in the video, but you are still struggling with the configuration, here are some helpful tips that you can try to follow:
- Uninstall the current version of our applications from your operatying system
- Make sure to download the latest one from our download page, usually them are shown in the left column of that page (make sure to download the right one for your device Magic Keys V1 and V2 uses a different software rather than Magic Keys V3)
- Make sure that also your cTrader client is updated
- After that you have succesfully installed the latest update of our applications and for the cTrader platforms, for your operatying system, make sure to complete the installation process using the algo and bot file, that cTrader requires, from the right column of your download center
- If also this process is complete, make sure to always have only one instance of our bot running at the time on your cTrader platforms
