Not saving template preset

You should add the EA to the chart where you take trades and configure the parameters. Once done trading, close MetaTrader directly (without closing the chart or removing the EA).
When MetaTrader is opened again, the chart will open and the EA will load with the last used parameters.

​If for some reason during your workflow this does not work, then you can use the load and save buttons. You would need to save them once on a file, and the load that file to get the same parameters.
