How to Resolve the "Trade Disabled" Error
If you encounter a "Trade Disabled" error when using Magic Keys, follow these steps to identify and resolve the issue:
-
Check the Error Message
Ensure that the error message in the Expert and Journal tabs of your trading platform explicitly states "trade disabled." This confirmation is crucial to diagnosing the issue correctly. -
Verify Account Status
Confirm that your trading account is active and connected to the server. A "Trade Disabled" error can occur if the account has been deactivated, expired, or is not fully set up. - Make sure you are using the right instrument symbol.
You need to see if your broker has any suffix for the symbol (for example EURUSD# or EURUSDp or EURUSD.hkt) -
Check Broker Restrictions
Some brokers may restrict the usage of Expert Advisors (EAs), which can prevent Magic Keys from functioning properly. Verify with your broker if there are any limitations or policies in place regarding the use of automated tools or EAs.
If the issue persists after these steps, please contact our support team with a detailed description of the error, including screenshots of the Expert and Journal tabs. We’ll be happy to assist you further.
