How to link scripts to FN buttons?

[Available only on the physical Magic Keys]

You might have a nice script that might help you even further and want to bind it to the Magic Keys FN buttons? Here is how!

1. On Metatrader, click on File -> Open Data Folder

2.. Select directory MQL4/5 -> Scripts

3. Copy the downloaded file info the Scripts folder

4. Restart Metatrader

5. From the Navigator window (ctrl+N), locate your script

6. Right-click on it and select Set Hotkey

7. Add the key combination matching the FN button

We currently support custom scripts being linked to

- FN 1 via ctrl+Q

- FN 2 via ctrl+J

In the example below the scripts it's linked to the FN1 button with the following configurations. 

Important!

Remember that you can also bind internal functions to the same keys. Make sure to set them to Empty from the Expert Advisor Properties to avoid activating multiple functions at the same time.
After that you have done this we suggest to restart your trading platform.
